About Rick Allen

Biography

As some may consider him to be a “Diamond in the Rough”, Rick Allen is a comedian/writer on a road to stardom. Born in Brooklyn, raised in Forest Hills, NY, Rick began entertaining audiences as a youth via school plays as early as 6th grade. Now a family man, and father of 2 children, Rick understands the importance and benefits of keeping laughter within the lives of his loved ones.

With decades of New York experience under his belt, his creative writing abilities are sure to tickle the funny bone of all audiences. As a professional comedian his style has been compared to the likes of George Carlin, and Rodney Dangerfield. Certainly, there can be no better comparisons. Critics have also complimented Rick for his hilarious comedic voices used while performing on stage. Slowly but surely Rick is becoming more and more of a club favorite. Rick Allen is guaranteed to put on a great show where ever he may go. With guest appearances on Danny Bonneduce’s radio show “The Big Break”, and Montel Williams (March 21, 1997) Rick has proven himself to be a top notch showmen. He has also been a contributing writer for the David Letterman show (April 15, 2004, “Ten Things You Don’t Want to Hear Your Accountant Say on Tax Day”).

Rick is currently in the process of writing an original sitcom titled “I Love Miluska” about life married to his Peruvian wife which is sure to bring laughter into the homes of families around America. This series is anticipated to be a spin on the classic “I Love Lucy” series with Ricky being the American and Lucy (short for Miluska) being the Latin American mother.  With this and many other future aspirations, Rick is sure to leave a permanent mark in the world of comedy.
